First impressions, manic! There are scooters everywhere, some with the whole family on and some with too much luggage!
The drive from the airport was fascinating and gives you an idea of what you are going to be a part of for the next few days. I went for a short walk when I got here and trying to cross the road is gambling with your life!! I cannot work out when to cross, even with the green man, it is not safe.
There is also Karoke everywhere.
Meeting the group at 7pm to go for a walk round and see where all the good restaurants are located. Tomorrow is the city tour and cyclo ride. In the afternoon I plan to visit an old prison and was planning to go to the water puppet theatre in the evening but tomorrow is the last night Market day whilst here so may have to jiggle things about.
So plan is go for the walk these evening and then get an early night so I am bright and breezy to get all the things done I want to do!
Write further tomorrow after the first full day.
